Ductec Ltd are delighted to announce that we have joined the leading Yorkshire manufacturing and engineering membership group Made in Yorkshire. We are now part of a collective group of 100+ firms including Portakabin, Actionplas, Kloeckner, Holmesterne Foods, Balmoral Tanks, Hesco, Hayley Group, Corrocoat and many more.

Ductec is a family run business with over 40 years of experience in all types of dust and fume extraction, heating & ventilation, acoustic enclosures and associated trades.

Based in West Yorkshire we offer design and installation services covering the whole of the UK, Ireland & Europe.

Like many other fellow members, we have joined Made in Yorkshire to share best practice, win new business, collaborate, raise our profile and source Midlands based suppliers.

Ductec Have Moved!

Good news, Ductec are finally moving to our new premises, but our journey to improve our business does not stop there.

Ductec is a family run business with over 40 years of experience in all types of dust and fume extraction, heating & ventilation, acoustic enclosures and associated trades.

At the moment, are busy working on how we can help to make supply and installations easy and have set up a new system to help with this.

At Ductec we take great pride in our work and most of our contracts come from customers that have used our services for many years. We are able to provide the best quality service and workmanship for any job, big or small and are more than happy to provide references which are current and reliable.

Ahmarra Door Solutions Relocation

Ahmarra Door Solutions are a leading timber fire door manufacturing company based in Hampshire and they asked Ductec Ltd to relocate their existing dust extraction system to a new purpose-built manufacturing facility.

Ductec Ltd designed, supplied and installed all the ductwork in the new facilitiy ready for the relocation of the existing system.

To prevent costly loss of production, Ductec Ltd supplied and installed a temporary dust extraction on the existing site.

The existing system was carefully dismantled and transported to the new premesis. After a few modifications, the dust extaction system was re-installed and is now working perfectly.

Top Safety Accreditation For Ductec Ltd

Ductec Ltd has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for the third year running for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.

Alcumus SafeContractor is leading a third party accreditation scheme which recognises extremely rigorous standards in health and safety management amongst contractors. It is used by thousands of organisations in the UK including SMEs and FTSE 100 Companies.

Employing 5 people, Ductec is principally involved in the design and installation of dust and fume extraction systems covering many industries such as woodwaste, steel manufacturing, waste management, food production, Rubber recycling, textiles anything that produces waste product.

The Company's application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need for a uniform standard across the business.SafeContractor accreditation will enhance the company's ability to win new contracts, and its commitment to safety will be viewed positively by its insurers when the company liability policy is up renewal.

Gemma Archibald, Director of Alcumus SafeContractor said: "Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place."
